Here at Hill’s Select Rice, it has been our family’s pride for over 70 years, starting with our grandfather, Ted Hill, who grew his first crop in 1948.

Ted Hill (grandfather, 91 years old) moved to South East Arkansas in 1948 to start growing rice.

Growing a product for consumers and never knowing where it goes or how it’s treated can be frustrating after the very labor intensive care we pride ourselves in. It was not a tough decision when the opportunity was presented to us at Hill Farms.
